How far in advance should we book?

Due to the popularity of vanity photobooth you should book as far in advance as possible. Contact us to see if your date is available. After we recieve your booking form (which can be found on the Contact page or emailed out to you) we will send out your invoice, from which a $200 deposit can be paid to secure your date. This $200 deposit comes off the total of your image session package.

Will you be able to access the venue?

Our custom-designed photobooth is one of the most portable photobooth rentals and can get to almost any location… up and down stairs, indoor and outdoor venues, even to the middle of an island in the harbour. We will liaise with your venue to confirm the available space. There is no extra charge for taking our photobooth upstairs.

Why should we hire Vanity PhotoBooth?

Years of R & D have gone into our photobooth to bring you the most portable and durable photobooth rental in the industry. Not only does our photobooth print the best quality photostrips, but it was designed to fit more people in the booth... so far the record is 10 people! This is not an off-the-shelf photobooth. Our custom design has been tried, tested and modified many times through customer feedback. All of our equipment is of the highest quality to ensure that your photostrips are instant drying, fade resistant and chemical free. We can now safely say that our photobooth will provide you and your guests with the greatest possible photobooth experience and will be the perfect addition to your event.

How much space does your Vanity Photo Booth need?

We need a space of 2m x 1m and access to a wall socket. We will liaise with your venue to ensure that they can host our photobooth for your event.

What time will we arrive?

We will always setup the photobooth before your guests arrive (the set up and removal of the photobooth are free of charge). The attendant will return to start the photobooth at your desired time and will be with the booth while it's in operation to fill your album and assist your guests with the booth. We will remove the photobooth at the conclusion of your event after you and your guests have left.

Are you insured?

Yes, we have public liability insurance, but we promise to take great care of you and your guests!

What happens if there is a mechanical problem with the photobooth?

Our photobooth is a tried and tested model. We may have to refill the paper, but this will not interfere with your guest's fun time. Our trained operator will take care of all the your needs.

Will there be a photobooth operator on site?

Yes, our trained photobooth operator will be with the booth at all times to ensure smooth running, to place photostrips in the album (all your guests need to do is fill the album with their messages) and to help your guests with anything else they may need.

Will my guests have to pay to use the photostrips?

No, not a cent!

Are the photostrips printed immediately?

Yes, your 3-pose photostrips print instantly and dry immediately, ensuring your guests can share, take home and treasure the amazing times that'll be had at your event and in our photostrips.

How many photos can our guests take during an event?

It is unlimited photostrips so your guests can take as many photos as they like during your event. Just make sure all of your guests know that the photostrips is available and free!

Can we have copies of the photos taken at the event?

Yes, the event organiser will receive a CD of all photostrips taken in the photostrips at your event.

Can we choose Colour or Black & White photos?

Prior to your event you can choose whether you want colour or black & white photos to be printed at your event. A majority of our clients stick with colour, however if you want a more old fashioned feel then you are more than welcome to choose black & white.

Can we have double prints?

Yes, this is a great addition to any event. It provides you and your guests with twice the amount of photostrips and twice as many memories of your event, especially useful with the dry mount photo album. The album and double print features are included in the Celebration and Wedding Packages.

What is the dry mount album?

This is a professional and elegant acid-free dry mount photo album with ricepaper-patterned interleaving. Perfect with the double-print photostrip feature as your guests can keep one photostrip, and stick the other in the album. We also provide you with acid-free double-sided adhesive photo tabs and high-quality gold and silver pens for your guests to write comments with. Many clients use this as their guest book as it is a fun take on the traditional guest book and allows your guests to really express themselves.

How many photostrips can the dry mount album hold?

The album consists of 30 black leaves (60 surfaces). Each surface can easily fit 3 photostrips and messages from your guests, meaning the album can hold up to 180 photostrips! This is plenty of room for a 3 - 4 hour photostrips rental. You'll be impressed with the different poses your guests think of and the 'unique' props they'll find to add to their photostrips experience.

Can we put our event logo on the photostrip?

Yes, this feature is included FREE of charge in all of our photostrips rental packages! Unique to Vanity PhotoBooth, your logo is placed in the fourth box on the photostrip, ensuring you don't lose a photo to have this memorable feature. This distinctive touch allows you to add your logo, event information or special message to every photostrip. All you have to do is send us the logo/message via email and it will be uploaded to the software and visible on your photostrips. If you're stuck and not sure what to have as your logo, then let us know and we can always give you a few ideas.

Can we brand the photostrips with our company information?

Yes! In addition to having your company logo or promotional message on every photostrip, you can brand the photostrips with magnetic strips, printed signs and cloth banners. We can even promote your brand on the inside back panel, which is visible in every image, increasing your brand awareness exponentially! Contact us for further information.

Can our guests use props?

Yes. We can provide you with our fun Prop Box, or you are welcome to bring your own props. Our prop box is full of fun novelty items including big glasses, hats, feather boas, masks, wigs, big plastic combs and scissors, big bow ties and a range of other bright and colourful accessories. Your guests will have an absolute blast dressing up in the props.

What is the 'ready to hang' canvas print?

This is a great way to remember all of the fun and exciting memories from your event. Choose your favourite photostrips from the CD that is sent out post event and we'll have them supersized and put on a canvas.

We love the idea of the Vanity photobooth. Can we use it for our engagement, save the date or wedding invitations… possibly even thank you cards?

Yes! We think it's a great idea and would love to help you out. We can arrange a photobooth sitting and then give you the CD for you to create your own cards. Contact us with all of your requests and we'll do all we can to make them happen.

How can I pay for my Vanity Photobooth rental?

You can pay by direct deposit into our nominated bank account, cash or cheque.
